Terms and Conditions – Maharashtra State Lottery

By purchasing a ticket or accessing the services of Maharashtra State Lottery, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your participation and use of our lottery schemes, whether online (informational purposes only) or offline via authorized retailers.

1. Eligibility

  • Participants must be 18 years or older to purchase and claim a lottery ticket.

  • Lottery tickets must be purchased only through authorized dealers or agents in the state of Maharashtra.

  • Lottery participation is restricted to residents and visitors in Maharashtra, subject to applicable laws.

2. Ticket Purchase

  • Tickets once sold cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled.

  • The responsibility of keeping the ticket safe lies solely with the participant. Lost or damaged tickets will not be considered for prize claims.

  • Tampered, mutilated, or duplicate tickets will be rejected.

3. Draw Process

  • All draws are conducted under the supervision of designated government officials.

  • The draw dates and schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the Directorate of Maharashtra State Lotteries.

4. Prize Claims

  • Winners must claim their prize within 90 days from the date of the draw.

  • Original ticket and valid identification proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.) must be submitted for verification.

  • Taxes and deductions, as per Income Tax Act of India, will apply to prize money.

  • The decision of the Directorate in prize validation is final and binding.

5. Liability

  • The Maharashtra State Lottery will not be liable for:

    • Tickets not claimed due to misplacement or delay

    • Errors due to printing, duplication, or fraud

    • Losses arising from unofficial or online ticket sales

6. Prohibited Practices

  • Unauthorized sale, resale, or duplication of lottery tickets is strictly prohibited and punishable under law.

  • Any attempt to manipulate results or engage in fraudulent activities will result in legal action.

7. Amendments

The Directorate of Maharashtra State Lotteries reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Participants are advised to check the latest version of the terms periodically.

8. Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
